LC Diamond Campaign

The Lane College Diamond Campaign was a student focused digital engagement campaign created for the Life at Lane social media platform. Inspired by the trending graphic design style surrounding Drake’s Iceman album rollout, I identified an opportunity to creatively position Lane College within a viral HBCU design trend that was gaining major traction online.

After conducting market research on the trend and audience engagement patterns, I designed and published a custom Lane College inspired graphic aimed at increasing exposure, engagement, and profile activity through trending hashtags and search optimization.

Results & Impact

The original campaign post generated:

1,100 interactions
663 likes
233 shares
58 new followers
577 profile visits

The design was later featured and reshared by larger HBCU social media pages in a community carousel highlighting HBCUs participating in the trend, generating an additional:

1,673 likes
757 shares

This campaign successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of trend based marketing, audience awareness, and culturally relevant design in driving engagement and expanding digital visibility for the Life at Lane platform.
