I led the strategic planning and execution of a campus wide branding campaign introducing Ike the Dragon as the official mascot of Lane College. This initiative required cross department collaboration with Athletics, Student Affairs, Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure the launch aligned with institutional identity and long term brand positioning.
My role included developing the creative direction, building the Ike brand framework, producing photo and video storytelling assets, managing live event media coverage, and coordinating community activation efforts for the official unveiling during Community Football Day. I also created brand guidelines, governance documentation, performance standards, and structured content systems to ensure Ike was not only launched successfully but sustained as a long term institutional asset.
The result was a high impact debut that increased engagement, strengthened school spirit, expanded community involvement, and positioned Ike as a symbol of pride, unity, and a new era of excellence for the institution.
